Federal Funds Desk by ALK Trading

Indirect rates and your DCAA incurred cost submission for about a third of the usual cost.

For small federal contractors and grant recipients. We track your fringe, overhead and G&A rates every month, prepare your annual incurred cost submission (ICS), and draft your grant reports. You certify your own submission. We prepare it.

AI does the first draft. A person reviews every schedule and report before you see it. You review, certify and submit.

How it works

1

Connect your books

Send us your general ledger, timesheets and contract or award list each month. QuickBooks, Xero or spreadsheet exports are fine.

2

AI prepares, a person reviews

We map accounts to cost pools, compute rates, and flag unallowable or questionable costs. A reviewer checks every number.

3

You certify

You get the finished schedules and reports with notes. You review, sign the certification and submit. You stay the certifying party.

E-Rate for private schools

E-Rate is the federal program, run by USAC for the FCC, that discounts internet, Wi-Fi and network equipment for eligible schools. That includes private nonprofit schools.

What we offer

  • Free estimate of your likely discount and yearly support.
  • If you go ahead, a flat $750 fee, paid upfront. It doesn't depend on how much funding you get. Estimates are estimates, not a promise; USAC decides all funding.
  • If a request is denied because of a mistake on our end, we refund the fee or redo the work for free.

Who does what

We prepare the filing for you. Your school signs every USAC form and submits it.

Contractors: indirect rates and the incurred cost submission

Indirect-rate tracking

Fringe, overhead and G&A pools and bases computed every month, year to date, with unallowable costs (FAR 31.205) pulled out.

Provisional billing rate checks

Each month we compare actual rates with the provisional billing rates on your invoices, so you can request an adjustment before year end instead of after.

Annual ICS prep

The incurred cost submission schedules (DCAA's ICE model format) drafted from the same data, ready for your review and certification. Due six months after your fiscal year end.
